Here is a list of the most frequently asked question that we have received.
 

 

Q: Who owns Kilmarnock Shopmobility?
A: Kilmarnock Shopmobility offers a FREE service to enable easy access to shopping and leisure facilities within Kilmarnock Town Centre and is funded by East Ayrshire Council in Partnership with EANCF Ltd.

Q: Are Kilmarnock Shopmobility Services really FREE?
A: YES. However we do welcome donations from service users but this is not mandatory.

Q: What are your opening hours?
A: Our current opening hours are Monday to Friday 10am till 3.30pm, however we do hope to extend these hours to include Saturdays in the coming months.

Q: What equipment do you have for loan?
A: We currently have a selection of manual and powered wheelchairs and a selection of powered scooters.

Q: Who can register as a service user?
A: Anyone with a mobility problem, you do not need to be registered disabled to use our services. Kilmarnock Shopmobility is open to anyone with either a temporary or permanent disability.

Q: How do I register as a service user? 
A: To register as a service user you must bring to the Kilmarnock Shopmobility office some form of identification which shows your address and signature.
